I am a geochemist and marine geologist working on the different aspects of methane-rich environments. I use numerical models to quantitatively describe the geochemical observations in the sediments and authigenic minerals. I especially interested in how methane, as a critical species for the global climate and carbon budget, interfere the cycling of other elements as well as the biosphere. Recent projects include submarine ground water discharge in the Arctic region and in-situ silicate diagenesis in marine sediments.
