Subject description

Biophysics is a cross-disciplinary subject that can comprise different physical questions concerning biological or biochemical problems. Molecular biophysics is closely related to biochemistry and often concern questions about three-dimensional structure, dynamics and interactions between macromolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids and biological membranes. The goal is to better understand the processes in which these molecules participate.
