Stockholm University is one of the world's top 100 universities. In terms of international education, the University focuses on Master's programmes but there are many free-standing science-courses taught in English.

Bridging Science and Societal Needs, 4.5 hp (ECTS credits)

This course is a central PhD course under the Openlab collaboration between Stockholm University, KTH, Karolinska Institute, and Södertörn University College. Openlab addresses collaborations across disciplines in order to find innovative solutions to societal challenges. The course is open to PhD students from all departments in all faculties at Stockholm University. PhD students interested in problem solving and making a difference in tomorrow's society should consider applying.

Scientific Method, 1.5 hp

The scientific method 1.5 hp is obligatory for obtaining the Bachelor of Science degree at the Science faculty at Stockholm University. This course is included in the syllabus for individual projects at first level for most subjects, but is taken independent of the Bachelor thesis work. The present syllabus makes the course more suitable to take early in your education.
